小長井・清田研の新年会を開催しました．総勢40名を超える方々にご参加いただき、盛大に執り行うことができました．
- One day seminar & クリスマス会
One day seminarとクリスマス会を行い，プレゼント交換会が盛り上がりました．
- 清田教授が17th International Conference on Geotechnical EngineeringにおいてKeynote lectureをおこないました
- 5大学合同ゼミ合宿＠新潟
毎年恒例の合同ゼミを新潟にて開催しました．来年度は滋賀にて開催予定です．
- 地震工学研究発表会にて符さんが優秀発表賞を受賞
- 2023年トルコ地震現場調査
トルコ地震による地盤被害メカニズム解明のための調査を行いました。学生は荻生（M2）、小西（B４）が参加しました。トルコのGebze大学や日本の他大学との共同研究です。
- 少人数セミナー＠沖縄（琉球大学）
琉球大学の伊東先生に案内していただき，少人数セミナーで用いる試料の採取および琉球大学と合同ゼミを行いました．
- Welcome party/新入生歓迎会
In October, four new members joined the Kiyota Laboratory: Mr. Hamzah from Indonesia, Mr. Bien from the Philippines, Mr. Mustafa from Pakistan, and Mr. Sawatsubashi from Japan. With their arrival, the total number of students in the lab has reached eleven.
10月から新たにインドネシア人のHamzahさん、フィリピン人のBienさん、パキスタン人のMustafaさん、日本人の沢津橋さんが加わり、清田研究室の学生は11人となりました。
- Completed Japanese course/日本語教室修了
Ms. Wang Xuening, an M1 student, has successfully completed the Japanese language course she was taking during the spring semester. Congratulations!

- Associate Professor Umar Joined Our Laboratory as a Visiting Researcher / Umar准教授が研究員として滞在
Umar, who completed both his Master’s and Doctoral programs in the Kiyota Laboratory, returned to the lab and conducted research with us from July through September. It was a valuable opportunity to reconnect and collaborate once again.

In early August, Kariya conducted a survey in Uchinada, Ishikawa Prefecture.

- Visit to the Vibration Cone at the Public Works Research Institute/土木研究所振動コーンの見学
We visited the Public Works Research Institute in Tsukuba to observe the vibration cone used for liquefaction prediction.
つくばの土木研究所に液状化予測に使われる振動コーンの見学に行きました。 - Trip to Yamanashi/山梨へ研究室旅行に行きました
In late July, our laboratory went on a trip to Yamanashi Prefecture. We enjoyed various activities such as visiting a winery, exploring Takeda Shrine, and experiencing peach picking.
7月下旬、山梨へ研究室旅行に行きました。ワイナリー、武田神社、桃狩りなどを楽しみました。 - Hands-on Training Workshop on Triaxial Compression Testing/三軸圧縮試験実技講習会を実施しました
2025年7月7日から9日にかけて開催された地盤工学会主催の「三軸圧縮試験実技講習会」において、桑野研究室と清田研究室が共同で講習を担当しました。
清田研究室では液状化試験を担当し、講習の前半2日間は、参加者が実際に三軸試験装置を操作しながら実習を行い、最終日には得られた実験結果の発表が行われました。From July 7 to 9, 2025, the Hands-on Training Workshop on Triaxial Compression Testing, hosted by the Japanese Geotechnical Society, was conducted jointly by the Kuwano and Kiyota Laboratories. Kiyota lab was in charge of liquefaction tests. During the first two days of the workshop, participants operated triaxial testing equipment themselves as part of practical training, and on the final day, they presented the results of their experiments.
- 台湾訪問/Visit to Taiwan
国立嘉義大学の李先生のご協力のもと、台湾での地震関連施設や八田與市記念館への訪問、現地学生との交流を行いました。
With the kind support of Professor Lee from National Chiayi University, we visited earthquake-related facilities and the Yoichi Hatta Memorial Museum in Taiwan, and had the opportunity to interact with local students.
- Katagiri san's 60th birthday/片桐さんの還暦お祝い
Katagiri san, our technical staff member, turned 60 in July, and our lab members celebrated the occasion together.
技術職員の片桐さんが7月に還暦を迎え、研究室のメンバーでお祝いをしました。
- 駒場リサーチキャンパス公開2025/UTokyo Komaba Research Campus Open House
5月30日、31日に駒場リサーチキャンパス公開が開催されました。ゼラチンや砂を用いたデモ実験、ポスターによる研究紹介、現場調査結果の展示を行いました。
On May 30th and 31st, we participated in the Komaba Research Campus Open House. We presented demonstration experiments using gelatin and sand, introduced our research through posters, and showcased results from field investigations. - 丸太杭打設工事の見学/observe a log pile driving operation
5月22日、飛島建設様および住友林業様のご協力のもと、浦安にて地盤支持力向上を目的とした丸太杭の打設工事を見学させていただきました。
With support of Tobishima Corporation and Sumitomo Forestry, we had the opportunity to observe a log pile driving operation in Urayasu, aimed at improving ground bearing capacity. - Welcome Party
4月11日、Welcome Partyを実施しました。修士1年生の荻生さん、王さん、学部4年生の小西さんが清田研究室に加わりました。
- 能登半島地震による液状化被害調査/Liquefaction Investigation in Noto Peninsula
4月6日から9日に、石川県内灘町にて現地調査を実施しました。
